Joanderson Brito Throws Shorts Into Crowd After KO Win At UFC 331

Joanderson Brito’s rise up the UFC featherweight ranks will continue after UFC 331, as he put a quick beating on Giga Chikadze to open up the night’s action.

Brito then removed his shorts and threw them into the crowd in a funny moment. He then took his time in the post-fight interview to show respect to Chikadze, praise the UFC, and call for his shot to head up the rankings at 145.

Brito looked to get his hands going early and pick up control, but Chikadze was ready with a few kicks to the body. Chikadze slipped on a high kick attempt, however, and that marked the beginning of the end.

Brito landed some furious ground-and-pound over the course of time in top control, knocking Chikadze out with his strikes for the victory in just under two minutes.

Brito has now won three straight and is 8-3 in the UFC. He entered this bout off a submission of Jordan Leavitt in June.
