Superlek Jitmuangnon headlines ONE Friday Fights 172 against Othman Rhouni on Friday, September 25, from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The main card starts at 8:30pm ICT, roughly 9:30am ET, with winners earning a $100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s main roster.
Superlek, 22, made an impressive promotional debut with a unanimous decision win over weekly series standout Sonrak Fairtex, building credibility fast in the Muay Thai bantamweight ranks. Rhouni, a 25-year-old Moroccan fighter out of Team Mehdi Zatout, remains winless in ONE but has already tested elite competition, taking multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion Panpayak to a split decision.
What’s At Stake
- The prospect’s next step: A win keeps Superlek’s fast start in the promotion moving and builds toward bigger bantamweight names.
- The breakthrough chance: Rhouni has already shown he can hang with elite Muay Thai competition. This is his shot at converting that into an actual win in ONE.
- The stakes for everyone on the card: Every bout on Friday Fights cards carries a $100,000 contract and roster spot for the winner, raising the intensity even on paper mismatches.
