Raul Rosas Jr. won’t be the only member of his family competing inside the Octagon for much longer.
Jessie Rosas, the older brother of the UFC’s youngest-ever fighter, has reportedly signed with the promotion and is expected to make his promotional debut against veteran Miles Johns at UFC Vegas 120 on Aug. 8.
The 23-year-old Rosas (8-1) earned his UFC opportunity after competing for several regional promotions, including UWC, A1 Combat, Fury FC, and 559 Fights. Six of his eight professional victories have come by stoppage, with four submissions and two knockouts.
Johns (15-5), meanwhile, enters the bantamweight matchup looking to snap the first three-fight skid of his UFC career. The 32-year-old has dropped consecutive bouts to Felipe Lima, Jean Matsumoto, and Daniel Marcos after spending nearly six years on the promotion’s roster.
