UFC Fight Night Sydney is official for Sunday, February 7, 2027, with the promotion returning to Afterpay Arena, formerly Qudos Bank Arena, in the Harbour City. It is the first UFC Fight Night in Sydney since 2017. In the U.S., the card lands on Saturday, February 6 and streams on Paramount+.
No bouts have been announced. The event and all future bout announcements are subject to approval from the New South Wales Combat Sports Commission.
The card is being staged in partnership with the NSW Government through Destination New South Wales, and it is the fourth consecutive annual UFC event in the state. UFC Senior Vice President of Australia and New Zealand Peter Kloczko said, “For the third year in a row, fans can enjoy the very best of UFC and Sydney summer, a fixture that has fast become a highlight on our annual events schedule.”
NSW Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper said the event “will draw thousands of visiting fans” and that “UFC affirms Sydney’s position on the world stage as a leading destination for unforgettable, world-class sporting experiences.”
The venue is coming off a big night. UFC 325, headlined by Alexander Volkanovski’s featherweight title defense against Diego Lopes, sold out Afterpay Arena with a record-breaking gate, and Volkanovski signed a new UFC contract after UFC 325. UFC says the three sold-out Sydney events since 2023 have combined for close to AUD $200 million in economic impact.
Fans can register for pre-sale access at UFC.com/Sydney. Details on general public and UFC VIP tickets will be announced later, while travel packages through Sportsnet Holidays and corporate suites through Afterpay Arena are available now.
The usual fight week schedule of free public events is planned, including open workouts, a press conference and ceremonial weigh-ins. The last UFC card in Australia was UFC Perth in May.
