Despite not starting the fight with control, Allen Frye Jr. managed to turn things around and use his striking to quickly stop R.J. Harris.
Harris started things off by working combinations, using his jab to give Frye some trouble. But about 90 seconds into the bout, Frye managed to find his range and started to land and find his power.
One right hand in particular forced Harris to back up. Frye pursued, landing a left hook and a flurry of right hands to drop Harris, scoring the finish at just under the three-minute mark.
This was Frye’s second UFC bout and his first Octagon win. He made his UFC debut in a loss to Guilherme Pat back in December.
