Even this late into his professional MMA career, Andre Fili might have secured his biggest highlight yet, scoring a head kick knockout of Kai Kamaka III at UFC Vegas 122.
Both men’s crisp striking seemed there as they looked to find their range at the start. The two went back and forth with their jabs, with both having their moments, though Fili appeared to have slightly more output.
The speed picked up at the start of round two, with Fili wobbling Kamaka with a hook. Then, he landed a head kick that put Kamaka out cold for a huge knockout victory.
Fili has consistently traded wins and losses since September 2022. He is 2-2 in his last four. This marked his first win by finish since defeating Lucas Almeida at UFC 296.
