Dana White Shuts Down Eddie Hearn’s Latest Claim

Dana White does not see a reason to sit down with Eddie Hearn.

After Dana White’s Contender Series on Tuesday, White was asked about Hearn’s appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. Hearn had floated the idea of the two meeting to settle their dispute over Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua.

There is absolutely zero confusion. Everything that I have said since however long ago I said it is true. Now, he’s open to meeting with me about what? What should we possibly meet about.

The heavyweights meet on Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, live on Netflix. White says his team is producing and promoting the event. Hearn says that would violate the contract and has pointed to TKO’s attitude as the reason he has not signed off on their involvement.

White mocked the idea when asked about it.

Sounds like he’s got an incredible lawsuit. Are you f—-ing kidding me right now? Did he talk about AJ and Fury. OK, that’s all that matters.

He repeated his plans for fight night. UFC 335 takes place in Las Vegas the following night.

I am producing the fight. I am promoting the fight. I will be there at the fight and then I’m flying right back to Vegas for the UFC fight.

White also questioned why he keeps coming up in Hearn’s interviews.

Why am I the main topic? AJ and Fury are fighting. Those guys are going to make a f—- ton of money. The fight has finally happened. Everything that I have said about my involvement in the fight has been absolutely true.
