Daniel Cormier, Eric Trump Deny Validity Of Posted Screenshots

ByThomas AlbanoMixed Martial Arts Journalist

UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier and Eric Trump, the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, are dismissing a now-deleted post from Cormier’s account of an interaction between the two.

Cormier posted screenshots on X in the hours leading up to the UFC card at the White House. The screenshots appeared to show a conversation between Cormier and Trump, with Trump reaching out to Cormier for betting advice on the fights tonight.

The conversation also had Trump asking Cormier if fights were fixed.

“I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent,” the post on Cormier’s account said. “the UFC is a sport I am deeply passionate about. I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior.”

The post would be deleted soon after. Both Cormier and Trump have now taken to social media to claim the conversation was not real.

This incident has sparked theories of Cormier’s account being hacked or him interacting with a fake Eric Trump account, if this conversation truly was fake.

UFC Freedom 250 kicked off just before 9 p.m. ET. The event takes place on the White House lawn, the culmination of a vision seen by President Donald Trump last year.
