Despite being ineligible for a bonus due to missing weight, Esteban Ribovics came ready for war, putting on a strong first-round finish of King Green at UFC 332.
Ribovics looked to come forward and take control early, landing a couple of shots before a brief clinch battle. Ribovics looked to find an opening as Green tried to get him off his game with taunting and body shots.
Green would pay for keeping his hands down, as Ribovics dropped him twice following left hands. Ribovics continued to push the pace and pressured with his punches, dropping Green once again with a left and prompting referee Herb Dean to stop the fight.
Ribovics has now won three of his last five, including his finish of Edson Barboza at UFC 330 in August.
