A former two-division UFC champion has entered the restaurant business by joining the ownership group of a new Prince St. Pizza location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
According to a recent report by WBRZ, Jon Jones was announced as part of the ownership team behind the New York City-born pizza chain’s newest expansion, with the restaurant expected to open in early fall. Best known for its Sicilian-style square pizzas and signature pepperoni-loaded slices, Prince St. Pizza currently operates 18 locations across the United States, most of them in California.
Jones built one of the most accomplished careers in UFC history, becoming the youngest champion in promotion history when he captured the light heavyweight title at just 23 years old. “Bones” later added the heavyweight championship to his résumé before retiring from professional MMA in 2025.
The 38-year-old last competed at UFC 309 in November 2024, successfully defending the heavyweight title with a third-round TKO victory over Stipe Miocic. Jones officially retired in June 2025 after UFC CEO Dana White announced his decision, which the former champion later confirmed.
“Bones” closed his legendary career with a 28-1 (1 No Contest) professional record and is widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. He won UFC championships in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions and holds the promotion’s record with 12 successful UFC title defenses.
