Roberto Soldic found himself in some trouble, but he settled in and put on a beating of Khaos Williams in rounds two and three to score a decision victory at UFC 332.
After some feeling out in the opening minute, Williams landed one right hand that briefly dropped Soldic. The two spent the next minute trading before Williams cracked Soldic again, this time with a right-left combination. A right hand resulted in another brief knockdown of Soldic. Soldic scored a takedown with a minute left in the round.
Williams seemed to slow down early in round two, as Soldic’s punching began to take over. He did damage with a combination at one point and landed a strong body kick midway through the round. Another combination slipped Williams up, and Soldic took him to the ground, doing damage from up top until the end of the second frame.
Soldic continued this strategy into the third round, continuing to dominate with damage and nearly finishing on the ground, with both punches and hunting for a choke. He got the nod on all three judges’ scorecards.
Soldic is the former KSW welterweight and middleweight champion, holding a victory over Dricus Du Plessis during his time in the promotion. Soldic last fought in MMA in February 2025, defeating Dagi Arslanaliev in ONE Championship to go 1-1 (1 NC) in that promotion.
