Dricus du Plessis

Dricus du Plessis, nicknamed Stillknocks, is a South African mixed martial artist and former UFC Middleweight Champion. Born in Welkom and based in Pretoria, he fights out of Team CIT and is known for his relentless pace and unorthodox, pressure-heavy style. Du Plessis won the UFC middleweight title in January 2024 with a split-decision victory over Sean Strickland, then defended it twice before dropping the belt to Khamzat Chimaev by unanimous decision in August 2025. He holds a professional record of 23 wins and 3 losses, with finishes accounting for the large majority of those wins.
