Elijah Smith’s run to start his UFC tenure continued at UFC Vegas 124, as he needed just one minute to extend his win streak to nine with a brutal knockout of Davey Grant.
After some feeling out, Grant landed a strong left hand on Smith, only for Smith to fire back with a check hook that rocked Grant. A left hand during the flurry of shots brought Grant to the floor, and a right hand knocked him unconscious, giving Smith the victory.
Smith is now 11-1 in professional MMA, with a 4-0 UFC record. He entered this fight off a submission of Su Young You in March.
