Tommy Gantt remained undefeated and continued to build himself up as he took out Drakkar Klose with a highlight submission during the Noche UFC 4 prelims.
Gantt was in near-complete control from the opening horn, working his way inside by utilizing his jab before scoring a takedown. Klose got up and occasionally freed himself, but Gantt completely dominated with positioning, often getting Klose trapped against the fence.
Gantt continued to mix in takedowns with leg kicks and inside shots in round two before scoring a takedown in round three to set up the end. Gantt worked his way into mount before taking Klose’s back.
Klose got on top in a scramble, but Gantt took control right back and locked up a reverse triangle choke for the submission.
Gantt is now 13-0 with a 2-0 UFC record. Gantt submitted Adam Livingston on Dana White’s Contender Series last year to win a contract. He made his UFC debut in May, finishing Artur Minev.
