Joe Rogan Re-Ups With Spotify In Reported $250M Multiyear Deal

Joe Rogan has signed a new multiyear licensing deal with Spotify, and The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reports it carries an estimated $250 million earnout. Spotify confirmed the renewal Thursday but did not disclose financial terms.

The Journal says the arrangement is similar to the one Rogan reached with Spotify in early 2024, when The Joe Rogan Experience stopped being exclusive to the platform. Variety reports Spotify will keep handling ad sales and licensing. Fans can keep watching or listening to new episodes on Spotify each week and across other platforms, according to Spotify’s announcement, with Forbes naming YouTube and Apple Podcasts.

Spotify says the show has 18 million followers on the service, making it the most-followed show there since the partnership began in 2020, and calls it the top podcast across all major platforms in 2025. The show’s YouTube channel adds another 21.1 million subscribers, Forbes reports.

Rogan called Spotify a great fit and said, “I’m extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come.” Jordan Newman, Spotify’s head of content partnerships, said the show keeps drawing a huge worldwide audience and that Spotify’s podcast business has expanded in step with it.

Why It Matters To UFC Fans

Rogan is also the UFC’s longtime commentator, and he carried that role onto Paramount+ when the promotion’s first event on the service, UFC 324, took place Jan. 24 in Las Vegas.

His own show also keeps feeding the UFC news cycle. In the past week alone, Rogan used the JRE MMA Show to question Conor McGregor’s motivation for fighting Max Holloway at UFC 329 and to weigh in on Michael Page’s UFC exit.
