Matheus Camilo Cracks, Finishes Nazim Sadykhov At UFC Baku

ByThomas AlbanoMixed Martial Arts Journalist

It was a fairly easy night at the office for Matheus Camilo, as he scored a quick TKO of Nazim Sadykhov at UFC Baku.

After some opening exchanges between the two, Camilo caught Sadykhov coming in with a right hand, putting him down on the canvas.

Camilo then landed three or four follow-up hammerfists before the referee stepped in. Despite protests from Sadykhov, there didn’t seem to be a big outcry about an early stoppage.

Camilo has now won two straight UFC fights after dropping his May 2025 UFC debut. He was submitted by Gabe Green but scored a decision over Viacheslav Borshchev.

After going unbeaten in five straight fights since earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, Sadykhov has now lost back-to-back bouts.
