Elves Brener brought the pain and made an impact during the UFC Vegas 121 prelims, crushing Josiah Harrell with an epic KO.
Harrell looked to take control of the action quickly, pressuring Brener toward the fence as he looked for takedowns. When the fight returned to the feet, however, Brener’s striking took over, as he landed several kicks to the legs while working Harrell over with his jab.
The boxing of Brener paid off when he wobbled Harrell with a jab, causing Harrell to go for another takedown. After stopping that attempt, Brener faceplanted Harrell with a right hook, giving him the first-round knockout win.
Brener scores a much-needed win after coming into this bout on a three-fight losing skid. Brener had most recently fought in August, dropping a decision to Esteban Ribovics.
