Julian Erosa’s career ended at UFC Vegas 123 in typical “Juicy J” fashion — a fight in which he looked to be done, only to produce a highlight comeback victory. That happened one last time as he defeated Jeong Yeong Lee.
Lee landed a strong left hook just seconds into the fight, rocking Erosa and putting him in trouble quickly. Lee continued with a couple of right hands, doing damage until Erosa could pin him to the fence.
Erosa continued to push forward despite Lee’s shots. Then, with one counter right hook, Erosa crushed Lee, who dropped to the mat, and finished the fight.
Erosa made his professional MMA debut in 2010, mainly competing for CageSport in Tacoma, Washington. He started his career 14-2 before joining the cast of The Ultimate Fighter season 22, winning three fights before losing to Artem Lobov in the semifinals. Erosa then defeated Marcin Wrzosek at the season’s finale before losing to Teruto Ishihara at UFC 196.
Erosa went back to the regional scene for a couple of years before earning his way back to the UFC with a knockout win on season two of Dana White’s Contender Series. He’d lose three straight fights before getting cut again.
After one more fight in CageSport, he returned to the UFC for good in 2020, submitting Sean Woodson with a brabo choke. Erosa finished his UFC career 10-9, with a 9-5 UFC record between 2020 and 2026.
