Mario Pinto remained undefeated in professional MMA during the UFC Paris prelims, scoring a TKO of Ryan Spann.
The two came out firing their power shots immediately, with both men connecting. A hook and uppercut wobbled Pinto, and Spann immediately looked for a standing guillotine against the fence. Spann let go, and Pinto landed a right hand on the button, bringing it back to an even battle between the two.
Later in the round, Pinto landed a left hand that rocked Spann again, allowing him to take Spann’s back and bring him to the ground, where he landed a barrage of strikes on the former light heavyweight contender.
Pinto quickly brought the fight back down to the ground in round two with a couple of overhands and a knee before a takedown. Pinto went back to the ground-and-pound until the referee stopped the fight.
Pinto is now 4-0 in the Octagon (13-0 in professional MMA overall) since his UFC debut in 2025. He earned a UFC contract after a first-round knockout win on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024.
