Salkilld Called For This Fight, And He Got It
Salkilld’s only professional loss came in his 2021 debut. Since then he has won 12 straight, and the UFC portion of that run has been close to perfect: a TKO of Anshul Jubli, a decision over Yanal Ashmouz, a head-kick knockout of Nasrat Haqparast on short notice, a first-round submission of Jamie Mullarkey, and a first-round TKO of Beneil Dariush in front of a home crowd in Perth on May 2.
He called out Gamrot after the Dariush finish. The 26-year-old is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt out of Luistro Combat Academy in Perth, and UFC.com named him its 2025 Newcomer of the Year. He has never been past three rounds as a professional, which is the obvious thing to watch in a scheduled five.
Gamrot Signed A New Deal Before Signing Up For This
Gamrot has been a fixture in the lightweight top 10 for years, with wins over Arman Tsarukyan, Rafael dos Anjos, Rafael Fiziev and Jalin Turner on a 9-4 promotional record. The former KSW featherweight and lightweight champion submitted Esteban Ribovics by arm-triangle choke at UFC 327 in April, his first tapout win in more than four years.
Two weeks out from this fight, the 35-year-old announced on X that he had re-signed. “I’ve signed a multi-fight deal with UFC,” Gamrot wrote. “I’m grateful to the UFC for the trust and for recognizing my hard work.”
The math is unforgiving either way. A loss to a fighter ranked below him stalls a career that has spent years knocking on the title door, and Paddy Pimblett has publicly questioned his marketability while climbing past him in the division. Gamrot’s wrestling, chain takedowns and pace remain the clearest blueprint anyone has for dragging Salkilld into water he has not swum in.
Darren Elkins Walks Out For The Last Time
Elkins made his UFC debut in March 2010. Saturday will be his 31st walk to the Octagon and, by his own confirmation, his last. “My last dance!! What a journey it’s been,” the 42-year-old wrote on Instagram after the booking was announced.
Nicknamed “The Damage” for good reason, Elkins built a 29-12 record on absorbing punishment and wrestling his way back into fights, most famously in his comeback win over Mirsad Bektic at UFC 209. He also holds wins over Michael Johnson, Dennis Bermudez and Hatsu Hioki, and shared the cage with Alexander Volkanovski, Charles Oliveira, Chad Mendes and Cub Swanson.
He has not competed since a first-round TKO loss to Julian Erosa in April 2025. Standing across from him is Contender Series product Yadier del Valle, who is 2-1 in the promotion and has no reason to play along with a sendoff.

Rest Of The Main Card
Amanda Lemos is trying to break a two-fight losing run against Alexia Thainara, who has won three straight since arriving in the promotion. Lemos, a former strawweight title challenger, was originally booked against Denise Gomes before the matchup changed.
Diego Ferreira and Billy Quarantillo is a lightweight fight between two veterans in need of it. Ferreira dropped back-to-back bouts last year, while Quarantillo has not competed since losing twice in 2024. At welterweight, undefeated Contender Series standout Ty Miller gets Billy Ray Goff.
