Jean Silva’s latest UFC victory has already produced a challenge outside the Octagon.

Former UFC flyweight contender Muhammad Mokaev called for a wrestling match against Silva at a Real American Freestyle event in November, offering to compete at any weight.

There’s an event in November on Real American Freestyle Wrestling. Jean Silva, any weight class, let’s go,” Mokaev wrote on X.

Silva defeated Jose Delgado by third round submission Saturday in the Noche UFC main event. After enduring a difficult opening round, the Brazilian took control and secured a one-armed rear naked choke at the 2:57 mark.

The result gave Silva consecutive victories following his loss to Diego Lopes. He previously rebounded by defeating Arnold Allen and has now reestablished himself among the leading contenders at featherweight.

Silva used his post-fight interview to call for a championship opportunity against the winner of Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev. The two are scheduled to meet at UFC 333 in October.

Mokaev departed the UFC in 2024 after the promotion elected not to renew his contract. He completed his UFC run with seven victories and no losses but has since remained active in MMA, wrestling and submission grappling.

Real American Freestyle currently has RAF 15 scheduled for November 28 in Chicago. Mokaev did not specify the event by name, although it is the promotion’s November date.

Silva has not publicly accepted the challenge, and RAF has not announced the match.
